The Adventure 9 is a modern backpack designed for the photographer with a pro DSLR with a grip and 5″ lens attached, several additional lenses, a flash, accessories and a laptop. It features a youthful, modern and sleek design that, for security, does not look like a camera bag.
Find a DealerInside the main compartment, foam pillars support the camera with lens attached, ready for action, while adjustable, foam-padded dividers protect other equipment. The foam-padded camera compartment has a weather flap and quick-release buckle for security and weather protection.
Top Compartment for Personal ItemsIn addition to the completely foam padded bottom compartment, the upper section functions like a traditional backpack to hold a light jacket, lunch or other personal items needed on your next photo adventure. Inside the top, a Pop-Off Pocket™ keeps AC adapters and laptop cords organized.
Holds a LaptopA separate, completely foam-padded compartment provides quick access to a 17″ screen laptop (such as Apple’s 17″ MacBook Pro or other laptops up to 15½” x 11″ x 2″ in size) without disturbing photo gear.
Front Accessory PanelThe front panel holds accessories and features Tamrac’s patented Memory & Battery Management System™ that uses red flags to identify which memory cards and batteries are available.
Mesh Side PocketsTwo mesh pockets on the sides provide quick access to accessories and water bottles.
Backpack HarnessThe comfortable, foam-padded backpack harness with sternum strap is contoured to distribute the weight of the camera gear across the shoulders. The harness also features Tamrac’s Strap Accessory System™ attachment points for customizing this pack with optional Tamrac S.A.S.™ products. Two lash tabs on the bottom allow a tripod to be carried (requires accessory straps, Model S-113, sold separately).

This is a great pick for anyone who enjoys taking photos outdoors. It is very durable, and holds pretty much everything you would need!
As somebody who is often out hiking, or out exploring cities for long hours, this backpack is perfect for me. It isn’t bulky and it is easy to store and take out my camera, which is extremely important when walking around in new cities.
I like all of the pockets. It helps to keep me organized so I don’t loose any extra batteries, cords, filters, or memory cards.
This bag is perfect due to its size and durability! I’m always on the go in rough trails and fast paced cities such as Africa, Rural China, LA, New York, and Europe and in all this bag can stand the test of concrete and the forest! The compartments are perfectly adjustable and more than ideal in size. It’s a perfect bag for any photographer on the go and not afraid to get dirty! Go with Tamrac it’s worth every penny!
I can fit a surprising large amount of equipment into it. I have two Canon cameras with lens and one 75-300 lens and well as some additional accessories. It all fits snuggly within the case. I can fit my 17″ MacPro laptop in as well, which is unusual, I had a difficult time finding a bag that would hold my larger Laptop.
Works great for flying, as a carry-on bag. Very durable, it has been with me on multiple trips to India, Thailand, Japan and of course it is prefect for a days hike into the mountains. It is defiantly worth the price.
