Holds Camera Gear

The main compartment is completely foam padded with numerous adjustable, foam-padded dividers to protect DSLRs, 5-6 lenses, and a flash.  The camera with a long zoom lens attached is suspended on two vertical, foam-padded dividers that are internally reinforced with rigid plastic.  A restraint strap holds the lens firmly in place.  Two Windowpane-Mesh™ pockets inside the front flap visibly organize filters, film and other accessories.  A plastic, foam-padded platform in the bottom provides shock protection while a LockDown™ rain flap protects the zipper from the elements.

Foam-Padded Computer Compartment View

A foam-padded front pocket with water-resistant zipper protects laptops with up to 14.1″ screens and provides easy access without disturbing photo gear.

Dual Hinge Divider System View

The Dual Hinge Divider System adjusts to allow two DSLRs to be carried with lenses attached.

Dual "Wing" Accessory Pockets View

Dual “wing” pockets with water-resistant zippers organize and provide quick access to important accessories without disturbing your other gear. These “wing” pockets also feature Tamrac’s patented Memory & Battery Management System™ that uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up.

QuickClip™ Tripod Attachment System View

A tripod is cradled (centered and balanced) securely between these pockets with Tamrac’s QuickClip™ tripod attachment system while the lower plastic-reinforced Tripod Foot Pocket holds two tripod legs secure.

State-of-the-art Harness System View

The state-of-the-art harness system with Dual-Density Comfort Pads provides maximum carrying comfort while Air Flow Channels help keep you cool and dry during extended use. The pack is also equipped with an adjustable waist belt and an expandable sternum strap for finer adjustments.  The harness features “D” rings that accept Tamrac’s optional backpack camera strap (Model N-11).

M.A.S.™ and S.A.S.™ Compatible

Strap Accessory System™ (S.A.S.™) and Modular Accessory System™ (M.A.S.™) attachment slots on the pack provide a convenient place to carry Tamrac’s optional M.A.S.™ and S.A.S.™ products (shown on right). • Well designed bag, its modular design is good to carry what I need each time By LDS

Good construction quality. What I especially like is its modular design, inside and outside. I can easily configure it to carry around a 400/5.6, a 70-200/2.8 and three other 2.8 smaller zooms and lenses, or remove the bigger one(s) and add some flashes/meter. Add the external pockets, and you have more space for 100×150 filters, flasher or whatever you need. The laptop compartment is not very large, but actual small laptops, ultrabooks and tablets are small enough to fit easily and yet powerful enough for on-field processing.
The external pockets are useful to access little items without having to open the whole bag, while the center tripod holder is comfortable while walking with a not-so-light tripod.
The harness is very comfortable, only the waist belt could have been a little better, padded, maybe.

  • grrrrreat By Dave Zidel

I’ve had this backpack for a while…and I really like it…I’ve dragged it on plane trips and car trips…great on flights..fits overhead or below your seat.

  • "All-in-One" is a huge understatement! By Chris Aylward

How about feeling safe and secure hitting the trails of the Niagara Gorge, knowing that your gear is protected in a way unmatched by rival bags?

Welp, that’s just how I felt.

13.3 inch Macbook, camera gear, lenses, and everything else this independent filmmaker needed to take with him. I was extremely easy to access exactly what I needed, when I needed it.

You’d swear this had taken some rocket scientists to design, because it’s thought out extremely well. I’ve had other bags from the competition and you all know it, everything is everywhere.

Lightweight and comfortable, I felt as though I could go on forever, and when you’re talking about a 2-3 hour hike down in a rough terrain, I’m happy to say that the Expedition 6x by Tamrac handled the terrain with ease.

Thanks for thinking of the things that most of us think of afterwards. Highly recommended!

  • protect all of my gear. By Leslie Magana

This backpack carries a lot in a mid-sized backpack. With durable comfy straps, I can wear this for long hikes knowing I am bringing everything I need and a little more. My biggest worry is I will run into something I need a different lens for but with this bag I can bring it along for those surprises. It is also large enough for my laptop making it great for long trips. The mesh pockets lets me see everything while the front pockets let me carry personal items I want easy access to. My annoying tripod is secured in the front with two legs slipped into place making sure it’s not going to slip out of my bag.
