Multi Section Divider System

This large backpack features a multi-section divider system to accommodate long telephoto lenses of different lengths and diameters.  The top section supports the camera and cinches tightly to the narrow portion of the lens where it attaches to the camera.  The bottom section includes two foam-padded, plastic-reinforced vertical dividers and one horizontal divider that can be adjusted vertically to fit varying length lenses and lens shade diameters

"Wing" Accessory Pockets View

Dual “wing” pockets with water-resistant zippers organize and provide quick access to important accessories without disturbing your other gear. These “wing” pockets also feature Tamrac’s patented Memory & Battery Management System™ that uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up.

Carry-on Compression System View

The Carry-on Compression System allows the pack to be made carry-on compatible for U.S. domestic flights.  This requires the removal of the camera body from the long telephoto lens.

QuickClip™ Tripod Attachment System View

A tripod is cradled (centered and balanced) securely between these pockets with Tamrac’s QuickClip™ tripod attachment system while the lower plastic-reinforced Tripod Foot Pocket holds two tripod legs secure.

State-of-the-art Harness View

The state-of-the-art harness system features Dual-Density Comfort Pads that provide maximum carrying comfort while Air Flow Channels help keep you cool and dry during extended use. The pack is also equipped with a foam-padded waist belt for added comfort. Cinch straps on the shoulder harness and an expandable sternum strap allow finer adjustments for maximum comfort. The harness also features “D” rings that accept Tamrac’s optional backpack camera strap (Model N-11).

  • The Expedition Pack By Pepe

This was my first Backpack. I am a hobbyist and was able to carry all sorts of items into Afghanistan with this pack. I was able to carry the following; 5dMkII, 7D, 24-105mm, 10-22mm, 70-200mm, 2x extender, Rode Mic, Zoom H4N mic, RedRock Micro DSLR Follow focus Capt. Stubling, 17″ Macbook Pro, filters, batteries. This pack probably was loaded down with more than it is rated at, but at no time did I feel like the pack straps were in jeopardy of tearing. With the high desert environment, and the military transport I put this pack through, it came out in one piece. Best of all, I never felt my equipment in jeopardy. Snap buckles and zippers are high quality.

  • great big bag, but still thin enough to get theough doors By Zach Marin

Great large bag for those of us that carry both video gear, photo gear, lighting setup and tripods! Its not terribly heavy compared to some bags you would find while looking for a larger bag which is a plus. Its built durable, but could use a little more support on the shoulders. I give it a solid 4.5.
