Quick Flip Top

The secure zippered Quick Flip Top opens away from the body for fast and convenient access to camera gear.

The front pocket has organizer pockets inside to keep a mobile phone, PDA or photo accessories within easy reach.  It also features Tamrac’s U.S.-patented Memory & Battery Management System™ that uses red flags to identify available memory cards from ones that are used up. • 3 Bags the Charm! By Christine hansen

As my photographic skills grew, my collection of Tamrac Velocity bags multiplied from 7 & 8 to the 9x and I have loved every one.

They are roomy enough to fit my pro bodies and lenses and comfortable enough to avoid re-injuring my already bad back. They look great, are constructed extremely well and in the airport don’t scream ”camera” to nearby theives

After 8 years of hard labor, the 9x will be retired shortly to be replaced by a new 10x. Thanks Tamrac for a great product.

  • So Much In So Little By Jean-Marcus Strole

I’m a professional photographer and was looking for another bag that I could easily carry some gear in and quickly access my stuff on the go. I have another Tamrac backpack that fits most of my gear but it was too bulky for quick gigs or tight quarters.

I found this Velocity 9x bag at my local camera shop and after some time there comparing I thought it would be perfect as a small bag for a wedding in London that I was photographing. Little did I know just how much I’d be using this bags free buying it.

I used it every day out in London as we went site seeing. I used it at the wedding to hold my extra gear that I wanted to have quick access too. I used it on the plane to carry my gear that didn’t fit in my hard travel pelican case to ensure all my gear was carry on. I use it at concerts to have everything I need on hand yet still be agile enough to maneuver in the press pit between security guards. I use it for my family portrait and engagement shoots, corporate events and conferences, weddings, and even some commercial gigs. There really isn’t a gig wherei don’t end up having this bag along.

I am surprised at just how much gear I’ve bee able to pack in there for how small it is. I can carry along all the double A’s I need, extra camera batteries, flash cards, speedlite cords, 2 speedlites, a quantum turbo 2×2 power pack, a 70-200is lens with hood, another zoom wide angle lense with hood, and TWOOOO Canon 5Dii with vertical grips.

I’m going to use this bag till it breaks, which doesn’t seem to be any time soon and I’ve had it for years now, on many trips, and many gigs in different states and countries. And when it does I’m buying the exact same one.

  • A great bag By Steve Prosser

I’ve tried lots of sling bags but none compare to the space and comfort of the Velocity 9. Well built and it offers lots of protection for my gear. This is one bag that will be with me for a long long time.
