Tell us about yourself

I work a full time career and operate my media company on the side. I'm a self taught professional photographer who specializes in adventure lifestyle and landscapes. I've traveled to 23 countries and hundreds of cities and I have recently started transcribing my travel journals onto my new website www.GlobalTravelTutor.com.

What are some of your favorite places you've shot?

At home in the Canadian Rockies, Iceland, and most recently Oahu and Kauai, Hawaii - Kalalau Trail and Stairway to Heaven.

What are you favorite pieces of gear?

Other than my Tamrac bag, my Canon 5d Mark III and my favourite lens is my Rokinon f/2.8 14mm

What is your favorite subject to photograph?

Anything at night in the wilderness - the Milky Way and snow capped mountains and the giant waves on the North Shore of Oahu and North shore of Kauai

Who do you look for as inspiration?

Other photographers especially Daniel Kordan and Chris Burkard. Those folks who are willing to go to unique locations and go for the adventure.

Where are you looking forward to shooting next?

Greenland, Patagonia, New Zealand, Iceland (this time in summer, potentially June 2016), Greece then Italy (January 2017), Madagascar/Egypt/Nambia (June 2017) and all of Central America (in May 2016)
